1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the Pausa mobile application (“App”), you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”).

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of the App

Pausa is a self-reflection and mindfulness application designed to support awareness, intentional pauses, and personal reflection.

The App provides tools and content for personal use only. It is not a medical, psychological, or therapeutic service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Pausa. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. Account Registration (Optional)

Using Pausa does not require creating an account. You may optionally register using Sign in with Apple, a Google account, or an email address and password.

You are responsible for:

• maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• all activity that occurs under your account

You may delete your account at any time from inside the App (Settings → Account → Delete account) or by writing to us (§13). Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription: subscriptions are billed and cancelled through the app store (§6).

5. User Content

You may create and store personal content within the App, such as reflections, notes, or inputs (“User Content”).

• You retain full ownership of your User Content.
• Pausa does not claim ownership over your content.
• You are solely responsible for the content you create and store.

We do not review or moderate personal reflections unless required by law.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Pausa may offer optional paid subscriptions that unlock additional features.

• Payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• Subscription terms, pricing, renewal, and cancellation are governed by the respective app store.
• We do not manage billing or store payment information.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your app store account settings.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the App for unlawful purposes
• attempt to disrupt or interfere with the App’s functionality
• reverse engineer, modify, or misuse the App
• use the App in a way that violates applicable laws or regulations

8. Disclaimer

Pausa is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. The App:

• does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice
• does not guarantee specific outcomes or results
• is not a substitute for professional care

If you are experiencing emotional distress or mental health concerns, please seek help from a qualified professional.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pausa shall not be liable for:

• any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• loss of data or personal content
• emotional or personal outcomes related to the use of the App

Your use of the App is at your own discretion and risk.

10. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the App, including its design, branding, and content (excluding User Content), belong to Pausa.

You may not copy, distribute, or use any part of the App without prior permission.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App if these Terms are violated. You may stop using the App at any time.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
